GÉNOVA APARTMENT
Built in the early 1970s by architects Lluís Clotet and Óscar Tusquets, Casa Fullà is one of Barcelona’s most distinctive examples of experimental residential architecture. Set in Horta-Guinardó, its unconventional geometry and generous terraces reflect the spirit of a city undergoing profound cultural change.
Our intervention focused on recovering the original character and spatial logic of one of its apartments. After decades of alterations, we removed later partitions and returned the home to its original two-bedroom layout, while integrating new installations and the requirements of contemporary living.
Rather than recreating the past, we wanted to understand it and let it inform the present. The result is a home that preserves the spirit of the original architecture while feeling entirely at home in the life of today.
