Translating CULTO Into Scent: Our Signature Home Fragrance
At CULTO, we are deeply trained to think in space, light, materiality, proportions, and atmosphere. Words and visuals are our everyday tools. Fragrance, however, invited us into a completely different territory—one that is intangible, deeply emotional, and profoundly personal.
The idea of creating a CULTO home spray was born from a simple yet ambitious question: Could we translate the values, the manifesto, and the essence of our studio into a scent?
This was, in itself, an unfamiliar exercise. Fragrance does not behave like form or texture. It cannot be drawn, scaled, or rendered. It must be felt. The first challenge, therefore, was learning how to “think” in fragrance—understanding which tools, references, and sensibilities could help us articulate who we are without relying on images or language.
A Collaborative, Intuitive Process
Guided by a local fragrance laboratory with a deeply organic and thoughtful approach, we began an abstract and highly subjective journey. Together, we explored how memories, nature, landscapes, materials, textures, and lived experiences could be distilled into olfactory notes.
It quickly became clear that this collaboration was the right one. From the very beginning, we shared a common philosophy: purity as a foundation.
Our starting point was non-negotiable:

- 0% synthetic perfume materials
- 0% artificial coloring
- 0% preservatives or chemical stabilizers
What we wanted was not only a fragrance, but an experience aligned with our ethical and aesthetic values—honest, refined, and uncompromising in quality.
The Character of the Fragrance
The result is a home spray that feels elegant yet grounded. It has depth, power, and a full-bodied presence, but it never overwhelms. The scent unfolds gently—flowing, subtle, and easy to inhabit—while still carrying a sophisticated intensity.

Composed exclusively of botanical extractions of supreme quality, the fragrance draws primarily from vetiver, patchouli, and rose—roots, leaves, and flowers sourced from certified ecological agriculture. Each note was chosen not for trend or familiarity, but for its emotional resonance and material richness.
Interior Design, Interpreted Through Scent
The selection of these ingredients emerged from collective reflection within our team. We asked ourselves what our interiors feel like. What they convey beyond aesthetics. While our projects vary widely—just as our clients do—there is always a CULTO signature present.
Each home is shaped around its inhabitants. Our role is not to impose, but to interpret—to reveal the authentic DNA of the people who live there, through our own lens. This balance between individuality and authorship is central to our work.
The fragrance needed to express that same idea.
A Personal Interpretation of Luxury
At CULTO, we see luxury as something deeply personal. It is not an absolute concept, nor a fixed aesthetic. For some, luxury is generosity of space, light, and height. For others, it lies in the tactile quality of materials, the precision of craftsmanship, or the intimacy of carefully chosen details.
Our work consistently seeks new interpretations of luxury—ones that feel relevant, human, and meaningful.
The fragrance reflects this philosophy. It is not loud or declarative. It is subtle, sophisticated, and intimate. A quiet confidence rather than a statement.
Living With the CULTO Fragrance
Designed as a home and room spray, the fragrance can be applied to spaces, fabrics, curtains, and upholstery. Thanks to its completely toxin-free and organic composition, it can theoretically be applied to skin as well—though its true intention remains architectural rather than cosmetic.
It is meant to inhabit a space, not dominate it.
